Freewrite on: I believe dance could be used as a method of Psychology treatment

7 years ago my Mother took my siblings and I to a dance. This was a dance event not like a prom Rather, a dance like the one you might find Abraham Lincoln dancing at back in his time.
Contra dancing is the term used  in reference to this style. The arrangments of movements and foot work is a bit like line dancing, but you are with a partner through out the dance. You do interacti with your neighbors and other dancers. The style od dance that would give you a visual expamle would be a film clip from a Jane Austen film, such as “Pride and Prejudice” or “Emma.”  Except our stlye is a more enerjetice. I believe this type of dance could be used to help raise a person’s self-confidnece. I’ve seen many a dancer walk to the floor for their first dance with eyes glood to the footing beneath them. Feeling very self consouic about giving their hand or elbow to the person beside them wh might be a girl or boy. But after attending a half-dozen dances the individual’s gaze meets yours and the thgout of interacting with a girl or boy becpmes more casual. People of all ages come to these dances. So interactin with a litte kid becomes fun and swinging on the arm of a man who could be your grandpa is no longer scary of boring.  Colors red green blud the library computer is going to kik me off in 5 minutes write wtire  something do I enjpy dancing yes. Dancing has defined the person I am in many ways. I’ve gained better social skills and I enjpy enteracting with people of all genders and ages. I wil alwys incorpaerate dancing in my life for health benefits as well now I need to go work on math and this weeks reading assignments. But I love dancing and wish everyone could enjoy it. Psychologist should use it in their treatment programs!!!!
